1.1. Brief Description of the Techniques
- No Magic Formula: There is no magic formula that make students successful on exam without subject matter knowledge.
- You have to have/get deep understanding on each of the topics to be covered by the exam.
- Talking to wall techniques is one of the 5 smart techniques that enable to get deep understanding (the links are given at the end/below)!
- Self-explanations: Talking to wall techniques are processes of taking key points and explaining to ourselves as if we are 'talking to wall' or as if we are teaching someone/the wall.
- Method of talking to wall if you can't get anyone to whom talk to.
- This means, if you don't have friends with whom you can make discussion about the topic/topics you are studying, "turn your face to wall" and make self-explanation.
- Assume that you are teaching the wall/some people.

3.1. የቴክኒኩ አጭር ገለፃ
- ቁልፍ ነጥቦችን ለራስችን እያወራን/እያብራራን ወይም ለግድግዳው እያወራን የማጥንኛ ዘዴ ነው!
- የ"Talk to Wall" ዘዴ ማለት ያጠናችሁትን/እያጠናችሁ ያላችሁትን ርዕስ የምታብራሩለት ወይም አብራችሁ 'discuss' የምታደርጉት ጓደኛ ከሌለ ወደ ግድግዳው ዞረን፣ ግድግዳውን እያስረዳን የምናጠናበት ዘዴ ነው! ለግድግዳው እያወሩ/እያብራሩ ማጥናት...
3.2. የቴክኒኩ ጠቀሜታዎች (Advantages)
የ"Talking to Wall" ቁልፍ ጠቀሜታዎች ውስጥ ሁለቱ የሚከተሉት ናቸው:-
- ይሄ የጥናት ዘዴ አጠቃላይ ዘዴ (general techniques) ነው፤
- ለሁሉም የትምህርት አይነቶች ይሰራል!
- ለሁሉም ተማሪ የሚሰራ techniques ነው!
- አንድን ርዕስ በጥልቀት ለመረዳት ያስችላል። በዚህ መልኩ ካጠናችሁ (making reflection regularly)፣ ያጠናችኋቸውን ርዕሶች እንደ ተረት ተረት በቃላችሁ ይዛችሁ ማውራት ትችላላችሁ! መቼም አትረሷቸውም!
3.3. የቴክኒኩ አተገባበር (Application)
ስታጠኑ፣ የምታጠኑትን ነገር በደንምብ እያብራራችሁ (ሌላ ሰውን እያስረዳችሁ/እያስተማራችሁ እንዳላችሁ ቆጥራችሁ/assume)፣ ግድግዳውን እያስረዳችሁ አጥኑ።
- ምክንያቱም ይሄ ዘዴ አጠቃላይ ዘዴ (ለሁሉም ተማሪ ና ለሁሉም የትምህርት አይነቶች የሚሰራ) ና አንድን ርዕስ በጥልቀት ለመረዳት የሚያስችል ዘዴ ነው!
- ጥናታችሁን ከማቆማችሁ በፊት ና አዲስ ርዕስ ከመጀመራችሁ በፊት ለግድግዳው ቁልፍ ቁልፍ ነጥቦችን በፍጥነት "revise" አድርጒቸው!
- ይሄን ሁሌም አድርጉ! በዚህ መልኩ ካጠናችሁ (regularly)፣ ያጠናችኋቸውን ርዕሶች እንደ ተረት ተረት በቃላችሁ ይዛችሁ፣ ማውራት ትችላላችሁ! መቼም አትረሷቸውም!
